Tina M. Merkys

Mass of Catholic Burial for Tina M. (Lunato) Merkys, 61, of Mentor, will be at 11 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby.

Tina passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Born February 6, 1956 in Cleveland, she has been a longtime Lake County resident and member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby.

Tina was a daughter, sister, wife,mother and Aunt. She was a wonderful woman, She was beautiful inside and out and loved by many. She had a passion and love for her kids and her husband that was unlike any other. Her love for family and friends was so strong and powerful. She definitely changed the lives of everyone around her. She always knew the right thing to say and was always a call away for anyone who just needed to talk. Tina will be greatly missed by everyone around her.

Survivors are her husband of 38 years, Joe; children, Joey, Timmy, Samantha (fiancée, Tommy) and her dog Moose; mother, Florence (Jurkoshek) Lunato; brother, Antonio Lunato Jr. and sister, Terri Lunato. She also leaves behind Godson's, Josh Park and Raymond Marinucci; and several nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Lunato, Sr. in 1997.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Final resting place will be at Willoughby Memorial Cemetery, following the Mass on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made at the funeral home for the family.
