Services for Gerrie Phillips, 79, of Willowick, will be at 5 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive from 2-5 PM on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Gerrie passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her home.

Born August 20, 1942 in Burlington, NC, she has lived in Northeast Ohio for more than 60 years.

She was a member of The Rolling Thunder Veterans Advocacy Group, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2300 Ladies Auxiliary, Competition Corvette Association. Gerrie was also a member of several motor cycle clubs, volunteer organizations and operated her own day care business in her home in Willowick. Above all, Gerrie loved animals, shopping, traveling, and time with her family.

Survivors are her children, Randy (Rose) Phillips and Cindy (Brian) Nuibe; granddaughters, Angela (Jamie) Cox, Ashley (Chad) Groves, Lindsey (Cody) Weisbarth and Emily Nuibe; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Sadie, Owen, Nolan, Elizabeth, Raegan and Colt; sister, Dorothy Garris. She also leaves her loving companion, Frank Fox; his daughter, Venessa Powers and her daughters, Skylar and Megan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael and her grandson, David Phillips. Her parents, John and Dorothy (Tickle) Moize and sister, Bonnie Barnes are also deceased.

A graveside service and interment will be at 11:30 AM on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Willoughby Memorial Gardens, 38650 Lakeshore Boulevard, Willoughby.
