Trula Jean Aingworth

Services for Trula Jean (nee: Greer) (Myers) Aingworth, 85, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10- 11 AM on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aingworth passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at her home, with her daughter and son at her side.

Born October 5, 1938 in Zionville, NC, she had lived in Willoughby for 34 years, before moving to Perry and returning to Willoughby in 2017.

She was a graduate of the former Andrews School for Girls in Willoughby and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, playing cards, traveling (throughout the USA) and especially spending time with family and friends.

Survivors are her children, Samantha A. Myers-Paulovich of Willoughby and Darin Alan Myers of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Jack (Anne Allan) Paulovich and Jesse (Marissa Beller) Paulovich, Jacob Myers (Trent), William Myers; step-children, Sandra Noll of SC, Jill (Ken) Goblinger of PA, Jack Myers of PA, Denny (Linda) Aingworth of FL; Julie Lombardy and Sherry Dutcher; step-grandchildren, J.B. Noll, Christy and Ben Uher and Amanda and Megan Myers; great-granddaughter, Lila Myers.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands: first, Jack Myers, on December 2, 1988 and her second, Fritz “Tom” Aingworth on September 1, 2004 and third, Ross D. Lombardy, Jr. on September 30, 2020. Her parents, Lonnie and Letha (Pennell) Greer, brothers, Monroe L. Greer and Richard A. Greer, step-daughter, Sue (Aingworth) Davies.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Cemetery following the service on Tuesday.
