Valerie E. Grabner

Mass of Christian Burial for Valerie E. Grabner, 84, of Willoughby, will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Fr. Dennis M. McNeil will officiate at the Mass.

Mrs. Grabner passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at her home.

Born September 22, 1938 in Cleveland, she has lived in Willoughby for the past 58 years.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and enjoyed painting with water colors and bowling.

Mrs. Grabner was employed at the former May Company store in Mentor for more than 40 years.

Survivors are her son, Gerry Grabner; grandsons, Gerry (Tammy) Grabner and Michael L. Grabner; great-grandsons, Jackson, Benny and Carter. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Barb Grabner.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gerry; her infant daughter, Mary and infant son, James. Her parents, Ralph and Dorothy (Von Lehmden) are also deceased.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the Mass on Wednesday.
