Wayne C. Parks

Services for Wayne C. Parks, 97, of Kirtland, will be at 10 AM on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Kirtland Christian Fellowship, 10001 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Born March 5, 1924 to Albert and Marion (Hunkin) Parks, Wayne was a lifelong Kirtland resident.

He worked in farm and property management before devoting his time to working his family farm. Wayne was a generous man who loved people, nature, and animals. He especially loved God and his family. He dedicated many hours to Bible study and walked close to the Lord. He passed peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Betty (Craig); son, Timothy (Carol); daughters, Noreen Parks, Donna (Victor) Annas, and Michelle (Mark) Simmons; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth (Pearl), and sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Kleinsorge, Donna Parks and Janet (Paul) Clapacs.

He will be interred at South Kirtland Cemetery.
