William A. “Bill” Facemire, age 73, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on April 15, 2021 in Mentor. Bill was born September 27, 1947 in Richwood, West Virginia and moved to Northeast Ohio in the late 1950’s.

Bill loved Cleveland sports, especially the Cleveland Indians. Bill coached baseball for many years. He had such an impact during his coaching career, he was honored with a field dedication in his name in Eastlake. One of his greatest thrills was when Rick Manning wished him a Happy 70th Birthday during the seventh inning of a televised Indians game. After retirement, he loved watching his granddaughter, Avalon, play softball and his grandson, Joshua, splash in the pool. He enjoyed his morning breakfast at Nick’s Family Restaurant, playing cards, and his trips to the casino. He will be missed by many.

Dearest brother of Faye Korcykoski and the late Polly Frank. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
