William Heston

Funeral services for William N. "Norm" Heston, age 100, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. David P. Thielo of Christ Lutheran Church in Willoughby will officiate at the service.
Mr. Heston passed away peacefully Sunday, June 10, 2012 at The Waterford Retirement Community.
Born November 27, 1911 and raised in Cleveland, he lived in Willoughby Hills, Mentor, and Tarpon Springs, Florida.
He was a member of Acacia Lodge 651 F. & A.M. Mr. Heston retired in 1977 as the Sales Manager of Morrison Products, Inc. in Cleveland, OH after 25 years of service.
He was the beloved husband for 67 years of Dorothy (Wood), who passed away June 19, 1999; loving father of Roger (Erma) Heston and Carole (Lowell) Davis, grandfather of Linda (Ray) Taylor, Jeff Heston, Scott Heston, Diane (Jim) Thompson, Renee (Shane) Segler, Wayne Davis, Karen (Sean) McGreal, great-grandfather of 14 and great-great grandfather of two.
His parents, Louis and Anna (Markham), brother Robert, sisters Margaret and Roberta are also deceased.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Wednesday, June 13 at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Christ Lutheran Church (The Vision Fund), 5555 S.O.M. Center Road, Willoughby, OH 44094.
