William A. Luke

Services for William A. Luke, 47, of Eastlake, will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. Luke passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born August 11, 1968 in Cleveland, he was a lifelong Eastlake resident.

He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed singing, music and gaming. He had a great passion for his daughters, Halloween and Snoopy. He was a good friend, good listener, with a huge heart and a sense of humor. Bill requested that everyone wear blue in his honor.

Mr. Luke was employed as a spinner and engraver at Conn-Selmer, Inc. in Eastlake for more than 25 years.

Survivors are his children, Jessica and Katherine; siblings, Terrie (Steven) Luke-Britton, John (Joanne) Luke, Jr., and Shellie (Dale) Luke-Reed all of Eastlake. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families. He also leaves his furry companions, Chase and Woofer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Luke, Sr. on February 18, 2003 and Betty Jane (Scott) Luke on March 26, 2014. His brothers, Michael and James Luke, and cousin, Laura Lee are also deceased.

The family will receive friends from 1-3, 6-8 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the funeral home. Pastor Chris Fisher of the Community of the Holy Spirit Church will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service on Wednesday.
