A celebration of the life of Zachary Robert Brunkala, 24, of Eastlake, will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
Zac passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Born August 2, 2000 in Willoughby, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.
Zac was co-owner of R&Z Auto Recycling with his dad Richie. Zac loved anything to do with anything with wheels you could drive; four-wheelers, race cars, dirt bikes, and even putting Milwaukee batteries in Power wheels. Zac was the first person to jump in to help anybody in need, no matter the time or place. His favorite thing to do was teaching Gabe how to work the tow truck. He loved his siblings like his kids and took care of everybody like they were family. He was hard-working, determined, passionate, always being goofy, laughing, and cracking jokes. He will be greatly missed by all. Fly high 47x.
He is survived by his parents, Richard (Denise) Brunkala and Kim (Dennis) Spelic; fiancé, Hollie Myers; his daughter, Adeline and son, Gabriel; siblings, Emily Brunkala, Kaytlin Spelic, Olivia Bryant and Nick (Kate) Bonczek; grandmothers, Valerie Brunkala and Lynda Valletto and grandfather, Bill Bonczek. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended families, as well as a large circle of friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Schiffbauer; his sister, Emily Helmick; his grandfathers, Richard Brunkala, Sr. and Anthony Valletto and his grandmother, Marie Bonczek.
